Listen Technologies Corporation has launched a re-designed website www.listentech.com featuring enhanced content for end users as well as comprehensive product and design information for consultants, dealers and installers.
"Listen's website has always been geared primarily to the sales channel, with detailed product information for the people specifying and selling our products," said Cory Schaeffer, VP of sales and marketing. "However, feedback from both our dealers and end users led us to the realization that our site could be greatly improved with educational information on our solutions and basic instruction on what our products do."
Visitors to the Listen site will now be able to browse product solutions specific to their needs. Clearly marked categories are provided for assistive listening, tour groups, language interpretation, soundfield, and conferencing applications. When visitors click on the icons for a specific solution, such as language interpretation, an informational page comes up to give the visitors more specific information on the product solutions that are available for that particular application.
A questionnaire is also provided for visitors who are not certain which Listen product would be appropriate for their needs. Typical questions include the number of seats in the facility, whether the audio needs to be secure, etc. The questionnaire is then submitted to the Listen staff for follow-up. "This is much more efficient than a simple form posting, because we give visitors the ability to give us some specifics on what they need," Cory said. "This allows us to have answers ready for customers when we contact them in response to the questionnaire."
In addition to enhancing the experience for end users, the Listen website has been updated with new tools for consultants, dealers and installers. In addition to having quick access to catalogs and product literature, dealers can see at a glance what sales programs may be available for them; sales presentations and product comparisons are also available via the dealer portal. For consultants, technical specifications and installation information are provided along with product literature. New to the website is a sortable product listing, including every Listen product and accessory in one concise location. When visitors click on a desired product or accessory, they are taken to the page for that item where all technical information can be easily accessed. The entire Listen website is also searchable, allowing visitors to quickly locate relevant information on particular products or applications.
Visitors to the Listen site will also find convenient links to the company's social media communications including the Listen Facebook page, Twitter postings and YouTube submittals. The Listen Blog is also available via the website, giving blog readers easy access to the other materials on the site.
